We are excited to document and record our 2023 Out-West trip! You can check our page for frequent blog post containing the latest updates and photos from our trip.
Following our last day of school yesterday, we went home to prepare and pack for our 17 day vacation! We packed everything from swimsuits to sweatshirts, guaranteeing that we are prepared to navigate any weather that we encounter.
With a full car, we pulled out of the driveway at 4:30 p.m. and set out on our journey to the West!
After approximately 6 hours of driving, we pulled into our home for the night… a Comfort Inn located in Forrest city, Arkansas. Yesterday was a reminder that the long hours spent in the car take some getting used to. Throughout the car ride Anna and I have been reading, working, napping and watching our shows. My parents have been alternating between driving and napping.
Although there are not many exciting updates or pictures from yesterday, we are en route to Oklahoma City today. So, you can expect more pictures and details from our time in the city on tomorrow’s post!
